Primary 5/6 - Mrs Dalrymple

As part of our recent STEM focus the pupils have had the opportunity to work with some of the other 2nd level teachers. My class have enjoyed developing their computer technology skills and are seen here having a Google race!

Recently some of  the class had great fun working in teams with some of the boys and girls in P6/7 to create a 'space ship's for their egg astronauts!

Well done to Arran for representing the school so well as a Junior Road Safety Officer at his first meeting in the local commun ity.

Well done to Jessica, Adam, Maria and Kayden, who successfully completed their bicycle training and were awarded their certificates.

Eilidh was our most recent Bronze Award winner and she chose to treat the whole class to an ice lolly. Thanks Eilidh!

After learning about the benefits of healthy eating, the class investigated the importance of good oral health. We carried out experiments to find out the effect of different types of food on our teeth. It was very messy but good fun!  W e were shocked to discover how much acidic or sugary foods and drinks had on teeth enamel.

Well done to Melissa and Tia ,who have achieved their bronze awards on our Tried my Best chart. The girls picked a non-uniform day for their reward.
