This term P5/6 have been given the opportunity to develop their outdoor learning skills taking part in Forest School with Miss Guthrie. Recently they have been working together to make bug hotel. They have fone a great job!
Yesterday the children had a visit from Jupiter Artland, we went for a walk in our local environment and had great fun creating imaginary alien landscapes! Next week we will be outside again making alien creatures.
After looking at which shapes are the strongest and constructing towers from different materials, this week we investigated stability. The children had great fun building structures with spaghetti and marshmallows. They realised having a firm foundation is crucial, especially when experimenting with jelly for a base!
