Yesterday the children had a visit from Jupiter Artland, we went for a walk in our local environment and had great fun creating imaginary alien landscapes! Next week we will be outside again making alien creatures.
P5/6 have been doing lots of outdoor learning with Miss Guthrie and have been investigating the different species of birds that visit our school grounds. They have made a large display to share the data they collect with the rest of the school.
It was the final week for this group's construction block. The younger children have been great, remembering what we learned in previous weeks and building stable constructions.
As part of our learning about measurement the children worked in teams to take various measurements then create life size skeletons. It was more difficult than anticipated but great fun!
